Focus must be given to not only hair design, but total design including preferred staff as an important element of up-and-coming salons. The DALIA Education Program established the program needed to move up a stage in various categories from assistant to owner throughout the year.
DALIA supports the training of beauty professionals who will be preferred by customers for the prosperity of the hair salon. The beauty industry is also part of the fashion industry, and we must always be acutely sensitive to trends. The road to becoming a beauty professional is long and laborious. We work together with hair salons to offer support from the sidelines and consider challenges together so that hairdressers can devote themselves to their beauty work.
It goes without saying that techniques are indispensable for becoming a professional. Through seminars, DALIA provides information for each position and situation on techniques and expertise that cannot be learned on the job. We also have a system for displaying the techniques and expertise acquired in a contest to allow participants to show their skills.
For DALIA seminars, we do not simple invite famous lecturers to speak. We form programs with relevant topics for the current year, after scrutinizing the needs of the era. Those topics are then broken down into eight topics and with four types of target participants for a total of over 200 seminars a year. The information needed varies by area, so seminars offered provide information that matches the corresponding region. In addition to the regular seminars, DALIA also holds about 30 to 40 other seminars each year to deliver new information corresponding to industry trends.
As customer needs become diversified with the changing of the times, the techniques beauty professionals need also change, as do the approaches to hair design. Forexample, DALIA’s seminars do not simply introduce new products, but develop professionals by showing the most optimal approach to utilizing those new tools.
The seminars are taught by hair stylists from top hair salons for a curriculum that is closer to actual operations. We provide a chance to see the styles customers want with your own eyes in a detailed, easy-to-understand manner for incorporating the latest techniques and information in your work.
