<Event & Seminar>
One of our main businesses is to organize various events and seminars in order to motivate salon staffs/ artists/ salon owners to brush up their skills. In every October, we host the Japan’s biggest Beauty competition called ‘Asia Beauty Congress’ as one of the main events in Asia Month Fukuoka. Ever year, over 7,000 people visit the one day event from all over Japan and overseas. We also organize annual ‘Beauty Business Show’ to provide the latest information for salon staffs and owners.
< Corporate History>
1946 Michiaki TAKAKI founded DARIYA as a wholesaler of hair-care products in Baba-shin-machi, Fukuoka City.
1968 Nagasaki Branch opened.
1976 Built the headquarter building in the present site and moved in. Opened DARIYA Beauty Center (a shop for hair professionals)
1980 Opened Kumamoto Branch. Fujio TAKAGI became the President.
1983 Opened Sasebo Branch and Kagoshima Branch.
1997 Celebrated the 50th anniversary (Theme: Smile Creates Power)
1998 Founded Japan Beauty Supply Inc. and started professional-use shop ‘B-ZONE’. Opened Oita Branch and Miyazaki Branch. Built Logistic Center.
2001 Founded Dalia Kansai Inc.to expand our business in Kansai market. *Kansai: Osaka, Kyoto and surrounded areas. Fujio TAKAGI became the Chairman. Harumitsu TAKAGI became the President.
2003 Increased the capital to 7.5 million JPY.
2004 Expanded the distribution center. Founded Dalia Chugoku Inc. (Chugoku: Hiroshima, Okayama, Shimane, Tottori areas) expanded our business to Hiroshima. Opened B-ZONE Hiroshima, Kobe Branch office and B-ZONE Kobe.
2005 Newly established Cosmetics Division to provide salons with information about total beauty.
2006 Commemorated the 60th anniversary. Shinichi TAKAGI became the President. Mergered affiliated companies in order to streamline our business. Opened B-ZONE Kokura.
2007 Opened nail market ‘RunGis’. Opened the Dalia International Nail Academy and entered nail business. Changed the corporate name from DARIYA to DALIA and introduced new corporate identity.
2008 Opened Tokyo Branch and entered Tokyo market under a slogan of ‘to be a glocal company’. Opened B-ZONE Nagasaki.
2009 B-ZONE Tenjin Relocation. Established DALIA INTERNATIONAL NAIL ACADEMY. Opened B=ZONE Osaka
